While were slowly leaving the pandemic behind us, CERO NINE's spring/summer 2022 collection is based on the theme of freedom. For this collection I interpreted freedom in two different ways:
Freedom - Together
Taking inspiration from colourful festivals and hippie culture, the first half of the collections focusses on a sense of freedom in a group. Bright colours, strong contrasts and graphic heavy. For the first time ever, CERO NINE makes use of nylon and printed patterns.
Freedom - Alone
The second half of the collection takes inspiration from solitary freedom: standing on the top of a mountain, walking through a field of grains, exploring a deserted beach. This part of the collection heavily uses canvas and desaturated colours and contrasting stitches.
